I'm thinking about temporarily dyeing my hair pink or "Vampire Red" (thank you Manic Panic), but I don't want to bleach my hair because I don't want the effects to be permanent. Any suggestions for easier dyeing?

I had this same issue. Red, blue-black, bergundy shades are nice. Seek professional advice at your salon you dont want to overprocess your hair.

You CANNOT lighten hair without it being permanent. Semi and demi-permanents can only darken or enhance. The only way to lighten your hair is with highlighting (bleach powder) or dye (permanent with ammonia and peroxide). Again--IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO "TEMPORARILY" LIGHTEN HAIR!!!
