Will you agree to believe in my purple hobgoblin? If no, why?
Can you provide more evidence than I can? If you say "the bible", I can also provide a typed "purple hobgoblin manual", also written by man.

You do know that the Bible is considered a historical text, right? History is kind of hard to "prove", since it can only be done and recorded once. Give me proof that George Washington existed. What? You only have historical accounts? Are you a religious nut?
If you are really interested, compare Isaiah 53:5 to the Gospel account of Jesus. If that doesn't do it for you, open up a question on fulfilled prophecy in the Bible.
BTW: is rebellion against laws proof that there are no judges?

-accuracy in science and history ought to be considered great evidences that it came from God. How did the anciant Jews know about the "paths in the seas" (Ps 8.8) if we didn't discover it until about 200 years ago?

You need to bring your angry down some...I do not believe in organize religion but I do have my faith.The reason is because of my life experiences I have had. I felt just like you years ago.I am glad I kept my mind open and observed how things went in my life. Thats when I knew there was a god and thats when I started getting close to him. There is more to it than just the Bible. Look around you..it all came from somewhere. We all have a purpose on this earth...like I said, there is more to it..it is a personal relationship with God..to know that He is exactly who He said He is..period.
