I know for many of you, immigration is a law and order issue, but is there any ONE place that has this info?

At the federal, state, and local government levels, what is their dollar cost for healthcare, education, prisons, security/enforcement, lost taxes (don't double count).
(I think I saw the federal govt cost is $29 billion.)

On the non-government level, what is their cost in terms of jobs, and how much in remitances do they send out of the country?

What about the benefits to the economy they give us? Any numbers on the following?
1) They spend most of their money right here in America making our economy bigger.
2) They work cheap, helping corporate profits while keeping inflation down for rest of us
3) cheap yardguys keep marital peace. (no nagging husbands to cut the grass...counts for something don't it?)
4) cheap nannies enable wives to go out and earn more money
5) flexible workforce because real easy to fire them without threat of wrongful discharge lawsuit.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
cuts into the wages of American Workers.
According to Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.),
who is head of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus,
"Massive immigration of low-skilled, low-wage workers
depresses wage rates
for people who are at the low economic end of the scale.
The overall effect
will be the decline of the living standard
of every American, or most Americans."

According to TNRIP, the financial cost
of this foreign invasion to U.S. taxpayers is staggering!
Here is a break down of the annual costs:

Education: $22.5 billion
Bi-lingual Education: $3.3 billion
AFDC: $2.4 billion
SSI: $2.9 billion
Social Security: $24.8 billion
Housing Assistance: $2.6 billion
Criminal Justice: $2.6 billion
Jobs Lost by Americans: $10.8 billion
Other Programs: $51.4 billion
Food Stamps: $7 billion
Health Care: $1.4 billion

(That Totals $131.7 BILLION Annually Folks)

I don't know if there is one place to get this info. Since more illegals come in every day, the figures would be obsolete before they could get gathered, printed, stored, etc. The cost of border patrol has to be figured in there too. If there were no illegals, we wouldn't need Border Patrol.
As for your other questions, most of the work I've seen done by illegals was shoddy. Notice I said most, not all. They send a big part of their money "back home". I do not (nor do I know anyone who has) and never have hired anyone to take care of my children, clean my house, do my yard or any other domestic chores, let alone an illegal. Yes, I worked a full time job after my kids were in school & I never had to bail any of them out of jail either. Anybody who hires illegals are breaking the law so they are costing us money as well. Not to mention they are taking advantage of the illegals by paying them less but asking them to do more. Sorry, I just can't see where illegals have any right to be here. If they want to come to America, then they should do it legally. It is never o.k. for anyone to start a new life based on an illegal act.

Well, to put the cost in human terms, how many people are in prison that are non-citizens that came to our country illegally, what damage has been done to communities through this massive influx of people, and how deep will we be in debt to pay for all of this malarkey in about 20 years, how will road repairs etc be paid for THEN? Lots and lots of questions, Mexico's a definable drag on our economy because that's how they're geared, to take more money out of our economy than they put in.
You'd think 'republicans' would take a no-nonsense approach to illegal immigration, I guess they like playing with their food...there's more to life than 'growth', and we need to start working smarter, not harder, with this whole business. American hospitals, even one, closing down due to lack of funds brought on by having illegal aliens that can't/won't pay their own way is a GREAT reason to start building that border fence.

I read somewhere, don't know if it's true or not, someone would have to probably look it up and confirm it, but supposedly Cuba, good ol' Cuba, is supposed to be chock-full of underpaid doctors.
So, take cuban doctors, build hospitals in Mexico and america helps pay for it(not the whole bill, but some help), and bingo, Mexico's got some healthcare, better than they've got now or whatever. And, maybe Mexico can write an official letter to the 3rd richest man in the world, down there, and have him cough up a little coin, too. There's supposed to be 110 million people in Mexico, if they can all spare 1 peso, they can build a class act of a hospital. Do that twice a year, and you'd have 2 new hospitals per year. And, with a trillion-dollar GDP, the per capita GDP says tthat 'yes, they can' spare a flippin' peso.

But, hospitals and so forth are resources that Mexico can and should provide for itself, hopefully their new prez will see that as 'muy importante', and start working to help people get that done.

What we're looking at here is a country that's hell-bent on growth AT OUR DIRECT EXPENSE. I'm sorry, I vote for cutting em off...

1) They spend most of their money right here in America making our economy bigger.
--no they send their money back to mexico. making our economy bigger? what are you 8?

2) They work cheap, helping corporate profits while keeping inflation down for rest of us
--drive wages down taking away american jobs from the poor or young. americans would pay a little more for fruit not to have to hear spanish 24/7 in AMERICA.

3) cheap yardguys keep marital peace. (no nagging husbands to cut the grass...counts for something don't it?)
--if you're too lazy to cut the grass you're pathetic. not exactly "jobs americans cant do" what a load of b.s.

4) cheap nannies enable wives to go out and earn more money
--once again, stealing american job. americans would rather have someone they can relate with as a nanny dumb***.

5) flexible workforce because real easy to fire them without threat of wrongful discharge lawsuit.
--if you want to wrongfully discharge an american citizen i suggest quitting your job! we need to look out for our own people rather than give a handout to illegal mexican ones.

Well, it looks like i just disproved every one of your arguments. too bad your brain is probably to small to comprehend anything i said. lol. well bye bye!

How do you think ICE has been tracking this stuff? If you knew as much as you thought you did and where to look, you would know this stuff. Americans know to stay in contact with the government. The Patriot Act is a good thing as far as tracking illegal immigration goes these days. We know how to find out where our tax dollars are going. We stay informed of the important issues on the local, state and national level.

I doubt much. I mean they pay taxes and get none of the benefits. You have to pay taxes no matter what when you have a job. They don't get any benefits from paying taxes so I'm assuming on the low side if they do cost the economy more than they give.

at least illegals are here to work. welfare queens and able bodied baby daddies who don't work are more a drain to society. ie: new orleans. illegals are the ones rebuilding.
