This is hard to say-on a full stomach, it's very easy to go to sleep! I'd say a full stomach, but it's the worst for you, as all the calories just stay there and don't burn off. On an empty stomach, it isn't really good either, you should have eaten several hours before going to bed, so you're not starving while trying to sleep. There's a good balance. Your stomach shouldn't be growling while trying to sleep.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!
1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.
2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.
The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.
After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net
Ohhh..and Good Luck!

Not full because lying down to sleep can now cause heartburn or worse. Not totally empty because you might make a midnight run to the fridge. Stop eating about 2 hours before bed.

Neither. Eat a small dinner around 5:30 or 6:00 to have a better sleep.

in my experience yes but it all depends on what you have been eating for instance if you have consumed alot of cheese you will dream heavily which may cause you to wake up a few times this is due to how long it takes to digest your brain continues to work as the food works its way down into your stomach....hope this helps.....

In the mood for the hot meal? Make a large pot of veggie bean soups, divide into two-cup containers, and store in the freezer. Before bed, place a container in the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door each day.
