Poodles are good short haired dogs that doesn't cause bad case of allergies. When I was little my parents had a poodle and I have bad allergies and asthma. Course now I have a cat and a long haired sheltie (bad for me) so I have to vacuum and brush the dog and cat both daily. But I simply cannot give them up.

buy a vaccuum with a HEPA filter when you get the dog and vaccuum daily. That will really cut down on your allergic reactions.

get a poodle they dont shed and people that have allergies buy these dogs because of this
