There are plenty. Winzip, however, remains 'on trial' forever (unless they have changed things).

Windows XP has a zip/unzip engine built in but if you want a basic standalone program, 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ or FBZip http://www.freebyte.com/fbzip/ seem to be as good as any. It's worth trying a few to find which ones do the job you want without the hassle of nags or adverts.

My favorite is IZArc. http://www.izarc.org/download.html

WinAce is similar and is free for downloading, just use the link below. It's not as good as Winzip, but that might be just because winzip is the one I'd always used before they took away the freebie! Many people say it's actually a lot better than winzip, so it's just personal choice I guess :o)

go to cnet.com. Click on downloads and utilities. They have a trial version of Winzip you can download and use for free. You should buy it after you decide it is the program you are going to use, but the free trial period is unlimited. You can also get it through worldstart.com.
If you already have Windows XP, you don't need it. XP has its own unzip program that works the same way.
