I think it was very tragic, as well as the Murrah Building April 19, 1995. I'm from Oklahoma so that touched me more than New York or Penn. But any loss of life to me is a tragic thing.

September 11th is a day that will live in infamy ... not because of the events themselves but the reactions that would follow ... the illegitimate invasion of Iraq ... the racial tensions ... the degregation of human rights.

The "war on terror" does not exist and the people who suffered on 9/11 did not suffer some unimagineable pain ... people everday experience the same agony as they did.

We need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves. Stop reacting emotionally. Stop lashing out blindly.

And for God's sake, teach the 100,000,000 U.S. citizens who can't recall the year of the attack ... it was only five years ago people ...

Sorry i am not from US and so probably should not be answering.
The US needs to look at its Foreign policy and at who they have in power.
Its not just Muslim extremists who don;t like him.
Living in the UK most people I know are very angry at how the UK has been allied with the US in so many disturbing ways.

September 11 was I am sure a big shock to the US to realise that the whole world did not love them or want to live like them.
I am not saying that makes it OK of course not it was beyond comprehension. I am speaking from a position of one step back. This is a privilege of course as I lost no one....

i really dont want to remember september 11th. i care about america and i care about history but i would rather forget some of the past and move on top what could possibly happen in the future. and im not saying there will be anything but there could be.. i mean there practicing and preparing for an attack in chicago. if bush was never in office than this wouldnt have happend. we never got binlodin like we should have, we went after another guy who was not on our target list to begin with. im partiotic but to a point of reason, im gratefull to live in this country and have freedom. but im tired of reliving what happend every september 11th. its time to move on and be grate full that were alive and if something does happen " knock on wood" than we should again be gratefull that most of us are still alive and that we got through it and are still living.

It was a tragedy. A lot of people from different countries worked there...its sad for the children and the parents who lost their love ones and friends.
I lost a good friend at the Pentagon and another at one of the towers.
Their love ones will always remember how President Bush
and others...Giuliani and many more comforted many at the scene with the firemen and rescuers.
May the creator be with you all.

I was sad to see these events on TV...i thought it was unnecessary and non-islamic...but also it made americans wake up alittle.....but now after all these years i think they should get over it...i mean in palestine and Iraq people are killed everyday with no reason( innocent civilan people) and no one mention it...so it got alot of media attention and still ...i think this time and effort could be used for the good of alla americans.....its something sad that happened ...but it happened...:)

9/11 was the work of americans... The plane didn't cause the fall... A controlled demolision did.. And by the way check how much investigation was made.. Not sufficient.. The files were closed before they were even opened

I will play the American National Anthem on my Trumpet at 11.00 tomorrow, as I remember the atrocities, I say to Muslims, if you support terrorism wear muslim garb tomorrow, if not then baseball cap jeans, oh and if you choose Muslim may I suggest you stay indoors because if you come out In muslim garb and I see you I will report you for behaviour liable to cause a breach of the peace.

It is fine to memorialize the victims and the tragedy and being 5 yr anniversary but I think we need to not let the terrorists see how much we somber over it. We need to remember, but at the same time we need to focus on getting the terrorists.
