I am looking for a 6 volt 4.0ah sealed lead battery for a rechargeable spotlight. where can i get one?

Try www.digikey.com & look up the page for Panasonic SLA batteries. I've used many of the Panasonic batteries & they are good. Also, I believe the sizes are kinda standardized, so that with care, you might be able to get the exact same size as the original.

Also, when you get the new battery, try not to discharge the battery all the way down to dead. With frequent rechargings, it will last much longer.

if you can locate a "battery store" in your area, they can rebuild the one that you have.. i have found its cheaper to have that done then buying a new one for my battery powered tools..
