Try rubbing the outside of a jalapeno pepper on your lips. It will only burn if they are chapped; and when you bite your lip your tongue will tingle. My sis did this b/c she got chapped lips from licking hers.

i need to know the same thing i bite the side of my mouth everyday and it's a very bad habit that i have. have you tried hypnosis that my work.

I rub my tongue against my front teeth when I am nervous, sometimes until it's so sore! I can't help it, I don't even know I'm doing it, until it hurts! Good luck!
