Specifically for the single American guys. (BUT GIRLS AND ANYONE CAN ANSWER THIS)

If you met an illegal girl that you didn't know was illegal at first, who was incredibly gorgeous to you specifically, in both personallity and appearance, & you really liked her and she liked you....when she tells you she is illegal, what would you do?

Throw her away and say, "naa b*tch, get the f*ck out of my country?"

Would you just supress your natural desires to forget about it, even tho this girl is so great that it's unlikely you'll find another one like her or as great as her?

Or would you accept the truth about your feelings for her, & be real with yourself that this is probably the one girl you'd feel stupid in passing up?

Also, you're mature enough to know for a fact that this is a genuine attraction, not some strange attempt on her part to get some money or something out of you.

& American girls, what would you do if you met THE guy, & he was this?

What would you do?

Not trying to start trouble, just an American who's curious about the topic.

51ain'tbad - Remember I said both MENTALLY and physically, not just physically.

Also, for sake of argument, this person speaks clear English, not garbled spanglish.

For all the hard headed people out there, lets say this person is well educated, speaks clear english, isn't walking around in rags and throwing poop in the air, is very westernized, has been in this counrty more than 15 years, washes, knows and has watched all the movies you've seen, is in fact no real difference about her than most Americans other than her skin and hair color, possibly a very slight accent that is actually more attractive.

Unlike the answer by 51ain'tbad which is the STUPIDEST answer ever. I've seen illegal girls that have been here for 20+yrs in the USA. Sorry to tell you but in reality many countries such as Mexico or the Phillipenes(SP?) have a expected wait time of over 15 yrs to get a paper to say they can be in the USA legally. Many of them only speak English so as you can see your assumption is beyond dumb.

So for one thing I know for a fact that 51ain'tbad is uneducated in what are actual life wait times.

As what I would do? I would simply base my feelings about her on the way she acts and is and not let a stupid document that determines whether you are legal or illegal get in the way of my feelings for a person.

Judging people by a piece of paper document is like judging people by race. Just because someone is black doesn't mean he is a ganster or a dumbass. Simply stated I judge people by their content of their character and not by their color of their skin or a piece of paper.

Well, such a hypothetical somewhat skirts the issue that if you, a US citizen, marry an illegal, they are instantly legal. Now, it is true that some people will thus be somewhat insincere about their feelings in order to make such a marriage. But it is also true that if you love someone, you can't let being able to help them be a BAD thing!

So if I was that sort of attracted to an illegal (and this is hypothetical, as I'm actually too old for it to be relevant), I'd act as if he was already legal, want to meet his family, etc. For one thing, Mexicans are very family oriented. If you can't stand your relatives, they are going to be around anyway, so you'd better find out before you get married. Of course, if his family was as charming as such a gentleman should be expected to have (I have fantasies of Duan Juan de Marco), then I'd probably go so far as to propose to him, to save him the embarrassment of having to ask, worrying that I would assume it was just for the green card.

But at my age, I've learned how to judge whether people mean what they say better than I had a 20 or 25. So I would clearly advise caution.

Assuming this was love at first bite (I've never experienced it myself) and you just had to unite with each other ...getting legal is the ONLY way.
It might take some finagling to pull it off but it would be worth it, right?
What's the point of being in love if you have to look over your shoulder every minute, not knowing what will befall you and yours next?
That's what is so stupid about the illegals that come here. They have no intentions of staying and contributing. It's about them and meeting their immediate needs. When a society has those kinds of folks within it in vast numbers, it cripples that society.
We are in many areas of our country, a crippled society due to hordes of law breaking, non English speaking, un caring illegals who use our tax dollars, jam our streets, schools and hospitals (and now prisons) competing with many for good jobs without paying their share and this is all because our country's government is being bought off by large corporate interests that want cheap labor.
Hmmmmm ...I guess I got off track and starting ranting.
So if you love some illegal ....get legal! Marry in bliss
and live happily everafter (between the hordes of other illegals that you you can't and won't marry and whom you will get to pay for with your hard earned tax dollars for everafter, as well).

Adults learn how to keep their pants on, in spite of temptations like that, and people screwing their way into the United States isn't something that just started 3 hours ago, but it IS a new point of scrutiny for the ICE. Marriages of convenience are the focus
here, and marriage to a foreign citizen is a personal choice, but might end up ruining, or at least delaying your future together.
It's a huge temptation, and a cause of lots of problems, but nothing insoluble, if you want your spouse to become a US citizen, there's a process for that, or for you to emigrate to their country. I just don't know if blurring the borderlines is such a hot idea...liberals support that a lot more than conservatives do, and you wonder where it's all going to lead...as long as it's legal, I guess there's not a problem, but if it starts leading to breaches of immigration law because you couldn't keep it in your pants, then the consequences are on you...

Someone who really loved me would not ask me to go against my conscience. We would do things the legal way or not at all. Even if that meant I had to go back to his country, or choose a third country to wait or live in if it were permissable. I would follow my true love to a small patch of dirt in the poorest country if need be and scratch out a lovely life with him there. I don't believe in sneaking and hiding and waiting around to be caught.

Two things can happen.

One, take the illegal back to the country of origin, hire a good immigration lawyer and do it right.

Two, you immigrate to the country of his/her origin and become a citizen there.

Minor point, but I don't understand why you would even think of using obscenities toward someone you cared about.

51, you sound really ignorant. Not all illegal immigrants are English illiterate. I was illegal once, now I'm an American citizen and I spoke English way before I became legal here.

Tough question but he would still be illegal. We would work it out and go about the right means to make him legal. It would take time but if we are truley attracted to each other like you say, It will be worth the wait.-

I would attempt to go through the legal system to obtain proper documentation. If it was not possible, I would go back with her and reattempt to do it the right way. What kind of life would you have knowing that at any time, she would have to leave and go back.
