In California, there's a chain of liquor stores called Beverages and More. I don't know how widespread the chain is, though. The bottles are called splits, and have one half of the wine that comes in a regular bottle.
You could also do a search on wineries, and email a few of them. Some will make up a special label for you (who married who, date, place), and print that the wine is a special and limited release of their wine for that occasion. I have seen them, and they're a nice keepsake.

Of course, it depends on where you live as to where you actually buy these, but Cooks puts out four-pack bottles of champagne that wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg (assuming you want champagne). Korbel and others have similar items, but they cost more.
The rage now is to serve these champagnes in the bottles and give each guest a bottle with a little straw for sipping. How fun is that!!
An added touch is to make labels featuring the bride and groom's names and paste over the label on the bottles.
In Virginia, wines can be purchased at grocery stores.

In california area, you can't go wrong with Two buck Chuck!
Yes that's right, Trader Joe's stores sells a wine by Charles Shaw for $1.99 each. It has become immensely popular as a cheap table wine, that you can try out and if you don't like it, throw it away!

I did this for my wedding. Great idea... Just go to your favorite liquor store, & ask whoever's in charge about getting you a deal on however many you need. Get several different prices from different stores though. You could make out like a bandit. Congratulations on the Big Day!

In Washington you would order them at the Liquor store. Laws vary from state to state so you may be able to order the at your local grocery store or wedding planner. They are called "Novelty Bottles."
