I am trying to figure out a name for my new puppy. She is a border collie mix, and was born 4th of July weekend.

I generally call a small dog 'wolf' or 'killer' to inflate their egos. It also makes their humans laugh.
I generally call a big dog 'puppy' to take them down a notch.
