Many of my neighbors join me in my complaint that they make too much noise. HOA tells us they can do nothing. Is there a legal way to handle this nuisance?

It's usually illegal to fire a gun within a certain distance of a home.

Contact a pest control company, if the neighborhood pays for it, each family wouldn't have to pay a lot.

Try trapping them.

Remove food sources for the birds. They'll move out on their own.

If they pose a health hazard, contact the city or county health department (around here, NJ, crows are carriers of bird flu).

yes its illegal, if you are caught you will go to jail or paid a huge find. place silhouettes of owls cut out of wood in the trees and on buildings - it will keep other birds away

The only thing I can think of would be to put up statues of birds of prey like owls, hawks and stuff. You can buy them at garden supply stores.

just shoot them with a bb gun incognito.. or better yet... get a big dog.. after a few weeks of it's barking you wouldn't even realize the birds were chirping if the pup hadn't eaten them.

i don't think u can shoot at them because if u miss u could hit an innocent bystander. maybe you could catch them and then kill them. but that sounds kind of cruel.
