I know it is unfair but there is no Karma. People can do what they want and nothing bad will happen to them as a result. Were you raped? If you do not exact revenge against the perpetrator of that rape do not count on cosmic forces to do it. Take control people. Live, for goodness sake start living your short pathetic lives.

sometimes things you do will have a impact on other people, as for us being pathetic, you should think about saying that, because no one will think you for calling them pathetic.

Hate to break it to ya. Yes there is Karma. I've seen enough of it, and I mean a lot of it and what you do can come back and bite you in the ***. There are forces at work besides God. I believe you should take revenge on anyone who hurts you in life though. Be prepared for it to come back on you three fold. There are forces at work that we don't even know about and it is not cosmic.

People misunderstand karma. Karma is not punishment for past actions. It is the completion of learning about a concept.

If you do something in one loop, then you have experienced part of that concept, from one perspective. But until you have experienced that concept from all perspectives, the lesson is not done. So, karma is in effect an "incomplete" on your report card. It says you have more to learn about other parts of the concept. Once you have experienced all aspects of the concept, karma is resolved and you can let that concept go from future cycles.

You don't believe in karma. That's fine. That's your belief. Many other people do, and most who do base it on their enlightened experience over time. As with all things, opinins vary.

Newton stated that "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." This is a scientific way of describing karma. What you do will create a reaction. And as the pendulum swings in one direction (the response to your action) it will also swing back in return motion. Saying there is no karma, which is a spiritual way of describing action/reaction, is the same as saying you don't believe in or agree with Newtonian physics.

couldnt getting revenge on the person that raped you count as their karma getting back at them? where did it say that the cosmic forces are the one that give out the punishments? certain jains believe that whatever hurtful actions you do to others will be done to you in that life time. ie you cut someones hand off, someone cuts your hand off.

Sadly, many people prefer to hide away from reality by living in a fairy tale world. There is no denying that delusion has its appeal, especially for the gullible, ignorant and weak minded.

i think your completely wrong, to truly understand the grandeur of karma you must have an in depth knowledge of reincarnation otherwise in your ignorance you will not be able to grasp such sublime truths ,there by ending up asking such questions as this.by believing in karma doesn't relinquish you of you duty's to your fellow man

I agree that Karma does not exist (particularly across lifetimes).

However there WILL be a judgment (after we die), where each of us will be judged by the Christian God for each of our actions.

Cordially,
John
