I like this girl that I go to school with alot, but I've heard many rumors about how she is. I haven't really talked to her that much but she seems as if she is kinda interested, or maybe she's just friendly. I've heard all kind of rumors from many people I know about "how many times she've been around the block". Normally I'm the type of guy that would try to be one of those guys on the block since I heard all these things, but it's something different about her. I don't feel this way about her I wanna get to know her. What should I do, I'm confused? What is this feeling? Maybe I'm just growing up I don't know.

Be careful not to believe gossip. It may be true but then again maybe people are out to destroy her and someone started that because they are jealous of her. I say, never judge others. Get to know her personally, form your own opinion. If you decide to date her, it is up to you how far you go with the relationship. If you find out she is too wild etc, break it off. If we listened to the world and everything said about everyone, we would not like anyone including ourselves. I believe it is safe to say that everyone has been a victim of talk, most of which is untrue. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Start out by casual talk. Try meeting for an activity together like at a gym, sport event etc. See if you have anything in common. Start out by being friends. If you are somewhat compatible and like her, then take it the next step by asking her on a date. You said, maybe you are just growing up...how old are you?...some of your talk sounds like you are older...the expression around the block is an expression much older people use. I am really curious now, how old you are...since your comment does not match your conversation. Are you older, pretending to be younger?

First I will like to say use your own judgment. Don't base your life on what others say or do? As for her so called Rep, we are all human and people have a lot of things in their lives that they are not proud of. But who are we to judge. If you want to get to know her do so, just as long as your health or safety isn't risked. Life is hard enough with people spreading rumors. I believe it is a sign of jealosy. I think if you go through it that is showing signs of you growing up but just be careful and protect yourself. Who knows she might be a great person. just forget the haters

Dude people are mean so rumors are just that stupid people saying mean **** about someone they dislike for some petty egocentric reason...However if by any chance their even remotely true then brother take it from one who's been hurt to many times she's just not worth it.
Anyway these feelings don't go away you have to do something but be careful lifes a ***** in this day and age.

It sounds a tad bit more then infactuation, but you have to talk to her, because if you never talk to her, then you will never know. Don't worry about the rumors, they may not be true. Try being a friend to her first.

Well i dont think you should listen to any rumors,,becayse most likely they are not true,Thats why they are called rumors in the first place. For all you know she might be the total opposite from what you are hearing.I think you should talk to her and find out for yourself the type of person she is. You might be pleasantly surprised. Go for it. Dont listen to other people becasue its possible they are just jealous of her.

get to know her... rumors are rumors anyone can choose to believe them or not and you never know the truth until you get it straight from the source....don't judge a book by its cover talk to her get to know her the real her not just by what other people say and think because everyone will have thier own opinion on someone

so get to know her with no expectations. find out from her who she really is. if she is the kind of person you could fall for then see how she feels about it. but you need to hear her side of it instead of listening to the rumors.

You realize that "been around the block" could all be lies.
Talk to her and see what's going; besides, it sounds as if you dont really care about her "reputation" being tarnished.
