Spring for the bottle of dry red wine,it makes the sauce have a very unique flavor,then you can use it in your spaghetti sauce also.

Nope, the vinegar will just give you lasagna salad--eww. If you need more liquid for your recipe (I'm guessing it's needed for the sauce used in the filling?) try some chicken broth, or tomato juice if tomato is compatible with your other ingredients. As a last resort, use water. Are you sure you can't lay your hands on some wine?? :)

if you have sherry, you could substitute the white wine with that. however, don't use the red wine vinegar because it's not at all the same thing. red wine vinegar is vinegar. that will totally ruin your lasagna.

Ooohhh...please don't use the Vinegar! lol Better to use nothing than try to substitute Vinegar for wine! =)
But it might have been funny to watch the family eat the results! lol
