while I don't believe in the bible or anything like that, that is some good bread, my roommate actually buys it, and he's an athiest, it's kinda funny.

I have bought this bread before and it is very good. It is quite dense with lots of whole grain and there are different varieties you can choose from.
The inspiration behind the bread is a scripture that seems to offer the rudiments of a recipe for a bread Ezekiel was to prepare. See Ez. 4:9 :
"Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side. (NIV)
There are also recipes on the internet for home-made version which are also probably delicious.
Also, some claim that this bread is excellent for diabetics.
My guess is that people buy the bread because of its quality, taste and grain content and not so much because of its link to scripture.

I've bought it many times. Personally, I like the idea of it being a recipe handed down from God, but that's not the main reason I buy it. It just tastes so darned good... And it makes GREAT toast!

I have bought it, yes. I bought it because it is sprouted-grain bread and therefore has higher nutritional value.
