If my doctor had told me that I had 4 months to live, there is no way that I would be sitting on a computer.

I think you should make a list of things that didn't seem possible before because you were tied down by work, family, or whatever it is that holds you back and get to doing some of it.

Say your sorries and goodbyes and enjoy the time that you have left.

Get a second opinion, and if that doctor says the same thing, start studying what is killing you and see if you can't beat it. Then rub it in the face of the doctor that told you that you were going to die in 4 months... a year or two from now.

Doctors estimations are sometimes wrong. You might have much more, however , just in case you don't get your affairs in order-your will done. Set up any trusts for dependent children or adults.
Actively participate in whatever treatment options you feel might help.
Repair any breeches in your relationships that you feel need to be talked over.

Make peace with anyone you consider your enemy, your competition, someone you think you've hurt.

Then if you're strong enough make arrangements for hospice .
Make peace with your impeding demise within yourself in whatever way that is and then make peace with God if you still have some lingering questions.

God bless.

Are you serious?? Well, first thing you do is make yourself right with GOD. Forgive all who may have hurt
you....forgive yourself so that you have no regrets. Then
start to LIVE.! The doctor is not the final say so. Live to
leave a great legacy...take care of yourself. There is
never the right time to let yourself down. Be Blessed and
thank God for everyday...we should all do this.

Travel and do fun things. Climb a mountain. Max out your credit cards. Write letters to everyone in your life telling them how you feel (even if you also have to write some nasty notes to your enemies saying you're going to haunt them when you get the chance). Eat lots of ice cream and Doritos. Run naked in public. Be in the audience on the Price is Right and act like a complete fool. Have lots of sex. Make a really quirky will leaving everything you own to different people, even your pile of paper clips. Go salsa dancing. R.I.P.

And did you really believe him? Are you terminally ill? Is that the reason why he broke such devastating news to you?

My opinion is: whatever your health problem is, it is always too pretentious for anyone else to assert this or that about your remaining life extension.

I firmly believe that it is in your hands to do something about it and disprove your doctor. It can't be too late, unless you are over one hundred.

First step: change your diet. Read about fasting (this is essential), healthy foods, learn how it is possible to reverse cancer and even AIDS with a change in your diet and lifestyle.

If you had told us more about your actual condition, I would give you more concrete advice. If you are interested, have a look at my health blog:

Live it up. Spend each day like the last even if your doctor did not tell you how much time you have left.

If this is for real, and you're not just being a jerk to get a response, then I'd say... STOP WASTING TIME IN CYBERSPACE! Get out into the world, and do something either personally or socially worthwhile.
Just ask yourself this: since I have such a limited time left, is this what I REALLY want to be doing?
I have full-blown AIDS, so I can relate. but if you're just asking this for fun, then GET A LIFE!

Make a list of everything you have ever wanted to do and see how many you can accomplish. Spend the time doing your list with friends and family, get as many people to join you as possible. Take tons of pictures so your friends and family can keep them. Try to be positive while doing this, be happy, and have tons of fun.
