Another British Question. I would like details as to how they operated when u were attacked. How many? Were they carrying weapons? At night or day? What did they want?
If u feel this will drudge up bad memories, then please do not upset urself. I just want to understand why they hurt innocent people and the best way to defeat ur enemy is to understand them.

It's not just yobs today. When I was it school it was the skinheads not chavs. A gang approached me once midday in a town centre. When I knew a beating was coming I ran, since I was an avid runner at school there was no cance of being caught :)
At 15 I took up kick boxing as a sport not thinking I would ever have to use it on the street. The night I did have to use it I was sat on a bench and punched in the back of the head. I confonted 3 lads (silly really) but came off best. I always think that it's good to 'know' how to fight just incase you ever need to.
At the end of the day if you can see it coming RUN.

I can remember one incident very clearly in my mind.
I like cycling, so I often take rides round the streets round my town area. One day I decided to take a ride to some nearby shops. When I gt there I noticed a group of lads of about 14-15, hanging around the corner of the shops, messing about on BMXs and smoking. I reognised a couple, but ignored them, as there was only about 6, and there were CCTV around so I felt safe. I decided to go up the middle of the path which led up the middle of the shops. It was at this point that they came from the corner of the shops and began to taunt me- 'Look at the fancy bike!' ' Hey, cyclist, watch your wheels' (whilst trying to puncture my wheels). They also tried to snatch my phone and purse, which were in my back pocket, and to puncture my tyres with a razor blade and hit me with a bat they'd with them. Dreadful. I actually realised, whilst cowering on the floor in fright, that on of the 6 was a girl. They seemed more interested in the fact that I was alone and on a racing bike more than anything else. I was also shocked they'd tried to do this in the middle of the afternoon, about 3 o' clock.
I think in this case they thought that being female meant I was weak, and m racing bike seemed to mean something as well. I don't think I was specifically targeted, as the shops had reported trouble before, and one of the boys had been expelled from my school after causing trouble.
Hope this helps....

if this is what you mean....

when I was about 13/14 I got mugged by a gang, it was about 2pm on a saturday, maybe sunday afternoon, and it was right round the corner from my house. I only had £4 on me, but they still took it, hope that's the kind of answer you wanted.

one of my works freinds was attacked recently at night as he walked through a park by a group of yobs. it took 4 days for the police to speak to him and apart from that they have done nothing whatsoever. i thought the police were appaling. my freind was cut, bruised and kicked in the head, also they stole is mobile phone and his wallet.

my enemy were spoilt chavs that dont have nothing better to do, they get EMA in the UK so to stay in school, my kids dont get it as our family income is too high, but yet we are struggling with a high mortgage , council tax etc!! but yet i see them that are getting it are living in council houses have cars etc, getting back to your question they are the culprits, by the way my kids are in right now doing homework or studying, and yes these culprits are out and about causing trouble, believe me!

was attacked by 1 guy at night with a knife. he'd been stalking me for a few weeks at work. he tried to force himself on me ... you know. anyway i have no desire to understand him whatsoever.

i later found out he had a wife & 2 kids & i wasnt even the first person he'd attacked but was the first to report him.
