I am trying to shift to Saudi Arabia (Dammam) to work for a company there. We have 2 young daughters age 4 and 8 yrs. How much will be the cost of education in CBSE School???
How much is the cost of rented house well furnished for three bed rooms set???
How much is the cost of food/vegitables and grocery for a month for 2 +2 children.

medical is not free. there are annual health cards around 300 riyals per individual. The health card covers most of the costs upto a year.
The rent for a well furnished accommodation would be around 1500 - 2200 riyals with all the facilities - three bedroom apartments, large kitchen, dining hall, etc.
the cost of schooling will be app. 5000 riyals a year under cbse.
the cost of food is cheap. you don't have to worry much.

i'm living here in the eastren region...
you seem to have a small family, i would reccomend you to rent a villa in a compound...
usually in the khobar area (10m by car to dammam)
in a really good compund a villa would cost 60,000 per year including water, power and sport and lesiure facilities...
and schools will be nearby... as work probably for you...
also, shopping centers and markets are also a couple miles far away....
and schools are only a 5m drive...
donnt know how much are the school's payments , but they are monthly...
ask about compunds around the holiday inn on the old airport road...
grocery will depend on what you buy... and from where you do...
but living is really cheap here comparing to USA and Europ
for 2 + 2 children, grocery shouldn't exceed 1000SR per month
many people can manage with 500 or less...
if you would like to live in the Rakah area, then i will tell you that it is a nice, quite area with apartments rents from 15 - 35 thousand.
and is in the center of dammam, khobar and dahran (5m to any of them by car)

cost of food ,, say 1 dollar for a sandwich
water is not drinkable from tap in dammam unlesss u work in a camp
eductation give 10,000$ for a kid a year plus or minus
house with 3 bedroom..it depends if u willing to live in a luxury then that will cost u 30,000 per annum

medical facility and education is free only for Saudis ...
unless the company is offering U to cover your medical expenses.
they offer housing too be sure to ask about it because most of the companies at saudi do.
