Sorry I missed your earlier question to which you feel you received bad advice. If you have never had a problem learning new things for a job or otherwise but had trouble with a register it may not have been the register that was the problem,,It may have been learning something new in front of a number of people all at the same time.???
A few years back I took a job in a fast food place,,let me tell you that job is for teens man I was in my thirties and I did a dang good job but really needed to be younger,,any how I stumbled a few times learning how to operate their register it was the first time I ever operated one,,I did fine when there was not a great number of people watching me look for that stupid picture LOL,,after a bit it became almost habit..try again and good luck just take a deep breath and tell yourself this,,everyone is new once.

I read some of the answers you received and they were unkind and uncalled for...some people answer for points not to help. You may have had trouble learning the cash register operations because the instructor was overly familiar with the process and moved too fast. There are many keys on the cash register and their uses are abbreviated on the machine if they are there at all. If you are still training, ask the instructor to let you try "it" then they can correct your errors as you make them. Sometimes doing helps people learn easier than hearing and watching. If your training is ended or ending, you might be able to learn the basics from reading the user guide. (It might help some if you think of the cash register keys as a computer keyboard...you learned how to use the keyboard and you can learn the cash register too.)

Maybe you are losing your job because you have difficulty communicating with other people in a coherent manner (see this question which isn't a question above).
