I'm just guessing you have more than 1 cat. By the way you are describing it, i think it's either a tumor(which needs imeadiate veterinarian attention.) or and absis, which is when a cat bites another cat and the bite gets infected and turns into this lump(which also needs vet. attention) I believe that the vets would be willing to work something out. Maybe a payment plan or something. Also if you pay all at once they usually give you a discount. Good luck.

My guess it's just a boil or cyst. If you don't have the money I'd just watch her closely and make sure she acts all right, especially if she's just an outdoor cat. If she's an indoor cat, I would go ahead and take her to the vet and work out a payment plan with your doctor (you don't want her spreading what she's got to you or anyone else in the house).
Good luck and don't worry - cats are animals and are tough!

Since it is soft there could be fluid on the spinal cord or he could just have an abcess, you really need to have him checked out. Usually vert clinics are really good about offering a free 1ST visit just as a checkup. You can tell them you are on a budget and just really need to know whats going on. But both of those things can be pretty serious if you dont get them treated.

The bump on your kitten MIGHT be cancer. You should really go to a vet. I know u dont have money for the vet so ask a friend who can afford it if they can take it to a vet. It's for your poor kitten's life.

I'm not easy about that lump. You should get it looked at ASAP.
Talk with the vet about your position: Many will try to work out a payment plan with you. Or at least, my vet does.
Good luck!

were the cats fighting? it could be a abscess, they are soft, usually filled with fluid, it is best to be checked by a vet, just to rule anything else out

possibly too much inbreeding and cancer but your vet has the tools to identify what it is.
