I can get a steak dinner and 2 or 3 beers for around $25 here in the US....I am told it would be twice that in the UK...so when I go there I doubt if I'll be going out much.

Well, if you want a decent 8-10oz sirloin, you're looking at about $12(cdn). If you just want a steak burger, it could go down to like $6(cdn).

I had and 8oz sirlon steak with chips and peas last night at a harvester and it cost me approx £10.00
