The perm will not be as effective, but if you over permed it it might relax it a bit.

ummm i had a perm and my advice is dont do it your hair may stink but dont wash it the day after because the perm wont be as effective.

It will get damaged, but it won't fall out. However, some people don't experience either when their perm gets wet.

damage it in the way it may not set properly and cause the perm to be frizzy instead of curly
