Hot water dries out your skin. Turn down the hot water some and use lotion directly after you dry off. Head to toe!

My husband is allergic to most soaps. Lotions do him not good either. My advice use soap sparingly, everyother day if you can get away with it. Also do not use bar soap. Liquid soaps are much gentler on the skin.

After washing with hot water, drying off can leave your skin very dry as it cools, try a cooler shower.

You could lotion yourself down after the shower, but use something that is mild.
