Had this with my 9 year old, we just pointed out the changes she is going through, let her smell all the deos and body sprays you can get and let her pick the ones she likes.

She is here just now and told me to recommend Impulse, Goddess and Tease are really nice she says, and wishes your daughter good luck.

First of all it sounds as if your daughter is in early puberty so you may need a trip to the docotrs just to have a quick check up. One of my daughters was like this and nothing could be done and nature took its course. Showering every day is the best and a good deodrants such as Sure or the new Nivea is exellent. I did let my daughter shave her arm pits but asked her first what she wanted to do as other children can be so cruel at that or any age. Do not use botox or any other chemicals other than soap and water followed by deodrant. My daughter who is now adult finds mens deodrant better as it is stronger for some reason. Hope this helps.

B.O is the smell produced when sweat mixes with air and bacteria grows. A good anti perspirant will do wonders as they suppress the actual sweating, body sprays are like room fresheners...they just temporarily mask the smell. My advice would be to wash as normal, pat dry and apply anti p first thing in morning and again wash and and reapply in evening. Hair removal will help also but on such young sensitive skin i would suggest a good ladies electric shaver as wet shaving can cause a nasty rash. Good luck sweetie xxxx

Get her a gentle anti-perspirent like a Dove stick.

Talk to her about it as well. To be fair she probably doesn't enjoy smelling and is more than likely a little self conscious about the hair under her arms. If she wants to remove it let her, but encourage a gentle brand of hair removing cream at that age.

9 is at the younger end of the scale to start puberty, but not unusually so.

Please don't get her botox, it's poison essentially and not good for developing bodies.

Don't inject the poor thing, she will feel like there is something wrong with her.
Some deodorants are more effective than others. Try Mitchum.
The hair is helping trap the sweat so maybe lose it if its causing extra smell. I know you are worried about her skin but what's worse injecting her or shaving her pits, which she may well do anyway out of choice as she gets older.

I know that she's pretty young to be going through puberty already, but I would consider shaving that underarm hair. And use deodorant in the morning, and before you go to bed. Keep taking showers everyday. I have no other advice.

smelly armpits get bad cos the bacteria in sweat sitting in the hair. So get rid of it. Consult chemist for recomended products for her age group.

Or go to doctors if above dont help.
Good luck.

Try Mitchum deodorant; it's really good.

Show her how to shave, as a rite of passage - make it a positive experience for her.

your daughter has not got a disease!!

Please be sensitive, ther eis nothing you can do..and Botox is rather extreame.i would suggest you buy "WRIGHTS COLTAR SOAP"WHICH IS AN ANTIBACTERIAL soap.do not make her feel bad..all she can do is shower regular and perhaps lavender body cream may help..rink plenty of water etc..she seems pretty healthy..do not shave her armpits...
