Kwel wrote: "Definately Hinduism...its a divine ocean whose real name is Sanatana Dharma (Eternal religion) and is considered as oldest living faith on earth, still followed by over billion people and most close to science."
Hinduism preaches worship of a cow, that the urine of cows has spiritual powers, that cows are worth more than humans, many Muslims have been killed by religious Hindus for slaughtering cows, even though the Muslims slaughter them on their own land out of hunger.
Kwel wrote: "Only those who are unaware or never studied Hinduism can dislike Hinduism."
Hinduism preaches the racist caste-system, that non-Muslims are low-caste, and that is why almost all Muslims in India live in slums, Hinduism preaches the sacredness of the Indian Subcontinent, and that all other lands are impure compared to Indian soil, that is why they consider the Ganges river to be more saced than any other river in the world.
Kwel wrote: "Hinduism is not a polytheist or idol worship religion but these are misconceptions of Hinduism....just like thre are misconceptions of Islam , Christianity, Pagans etc."
Hinduism believes in stories of gods and goddesses having sexual relations with each other, this is proof that Hinduism is a polytheist religion, no matter how hard many Hindus try to win respect for their religion among ignorant monotheist individuals, by lying about Hinduism not being a polytheist religion.
Kwel wrote: "Hinduism is like an ocean of divine philosphy which recognises lower spiritual levels of religions like Islam but at the same time you can understand Hinduism only if you are at an advanced state of spiritual evolution."
Islam teaches to seek knowledge and to join good causes, and calls for the freeing of slaves. Hinduism believes in a caste-system, worships cows, worship of Indian soil, believes in individual spiritual intoxication (meditation), and etc. rather than putting an emphasis on human society.
Kwel wrote: "Today Hindu basics like Yoga, meditation, Law of Karma and reincarnation are spreading in western nations and millions and millions are now believeing in them and are moving closer to Hinduism with every passing day."
Where is the proof that millions are moving closer to Hinduism?
Islam teaches that the Earth is spacious, and encourages one to move to wherever one can practice Islam in peace.
If you seriously study Hinduism, you will see how the roots of Hinduism are of racial supremacy and numbing the feelings of the oppressed dark skinned peoples of India, whom have been pushed to Southern India.
Some people claim that Hinduism is one of the world's oldest religions, but that does not make it right, if you closely study Hinduism you will understand why India is one of the most poorest countries in world and why non-Hindus and dark skinned Hindus are kept poor and ignorant in India.
I love many Hindu individuals, with open minds, they realize how Hinduism is evil in many ways, and look to other religions and philosophies to escape the primitive ignorances of Hinduism.
Some people claim that democracy is a part of Hinduism, though Democracy never existed in India until the British introduced it to India. India had always been ruled by Rajas and Brahmans. Democracy is actually against the Hindu belief of the socio-political supremacy of Rajas and Brahmans.
If you truly want to understand which of these 2 religions makes sense, you should read their scriptures, not rely on hearsay, because when you actually read the scriptures, you will be able to make a conclusive judgement on which religion makes more sense rather than which one is more appealing from hearsay.

Well right up front, I think that monotheism is a cancer on the planet, so I don't support either Christianity or Islam in that regard. Hinduism sees god in all beings; that notion of god makes sense to me. However this is not uniquely a Hindu concept. I think all the religions are somehow reflections as well as shapers of culture. I think I wouldn't feel totally at home in any Islamic or Hindu culture. I do share with many Americans the wish for a viable alternative to business as usual (Christianity). We seem to be able to skip around a lot without landing anywhere. But the true search is not jumping into someone else's failed paradym, but to create your own authentic response to the mysteries of life.

Neither.
Christianity rules, do what the hell you want but if in that splt second beween being shot and dying you repent you have cracked it, just say the odd prayer before necking a jar or two and a pork pie down the dog and duck and when the shoe bomb blows the rest of the 747 passengers to hell, you can say I repent and get straight on with harp practice, then again you can spend half your life praying and singing with the Salvation army choir but the last shall be first and the first shall be last, so why bother,
I dont think that bit has been thought out too good but it beats the hell out of praying to Mecca, or is it the Odeon five times a day.

think on these basic facts -------
All the known religions today except HINDUISM was started by someone, sometime in the past.
there was a time when all the religions except HINDUISM did NOT exist.
ALL religions except HINDUISM have some or the other form of initiation ceremony e.g. - baptism/khatna, whereas HINDUISM treats everyone being born a HINDU.
majority of religions practice and/or believe in conversion except HINDUISM.
HINDUISM never objects to whatever way you choose to be close to GOD, instead finds a way to assimilate your path to GOD.
I can go on and on on this...these are but a few.
YOU are wise enough to see for yourself whats the right choice if you want to make one or else believe in your own religion and attain HIS blessings.

There are certain similarities between all religions......
BUT
no two religions could be further apart than Hinduism and Islam.
Any Muslims or Hindus who try to point out their similarities should only go so far as to say that they are both intended to bring peace.Otherwise they are being economical with the truth.
Islam says there is ONE God, who is the Almighty Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and fully Aware of everything in it. He sees everything but is beyond all human vision. WE come to this earth as a test and after our test we return to God who judges us. Any who have lost every last iota of human kindness and spirituality are like dead twigs and are thrown on a bonfire, the rest are forgiven and go to Paradise. This is in the same tradition as the Prophet Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.
Hinduism (India-ism) is the name for a collection and attempted rationalisation of the worship of thousands of different Indian village 'gods' and idols including some that have been established as top gods. Top people worship top gods and Hinduism also has 4 or 5 castes (classes) that are not sposed to intermarry. (Caste is from sanskrit for'colour'.)The gods and idols come in all sorts of shapes and sizes including elephant god, monkey god and so on.
To me Islam makes more sense. Its final prophet, Muhammad, openly condemned racism, as did Islam's last revelation, the Qur'an. It is available for all people and babies are born pure.

Please if you have not studied a religion or have not bothered too open your mind. DONT just spew lies and misinformation you might have overheard somewhere. Its just sickening. Hindus worship one God if you want an explanantion go study what there relgion is actualy about.
If we want to be petty. I think any immortal being capable of talking to God could be considered a God and inspite of its claims of one God there is a great deal of minor Gods in the Islamic tradition satan angels demons all of them are immortal creatures capable of Godlike powers and all of them are no differant then the seperate aspects of hindu beleif.
So BOTH relgions worship more than one GOd if you want to be petty. But if you bother to ask and find out Both only have one God.
Most of you are Bigoted half brains and should just SHUT UP AND STOP TRYING TO BLOW EACH OTHER UP in a spiritual sense.ITs just as petty and evil as blowing each other up with bombs.
