You are not saying what med strength you're taking, so I'll do this as generally speaking. It takes 3-4 days for the meds to get hold a hold of this and start to shake it. Problem is, it takes 9-14 days for the meds to irradicate it and boost your system back up. Most folks stop taking meds too soon and suffer reoccurances....now, you'll need to follow up with lab testing to make sure its gone and for goodness sakes, take vitamins to restore your health. Get rest and drink plenty of fluids--pedialyte is recommended. My best to you.

It should go away within a couple of days. Whatever you do, don't stop taking your antibiotics!! If you don't finish them up you aren't actually getting rid of the bacteria and next time you catch strep your body will be even more resistant to it and you will need stronger antibiotics.

Completely about 10 days, but the symptoms should begin to subside in about 24 to 48 hrs. Drink lots of water, and get lots of rest.... take something for fever and pain as well.

You will probably feel better within a few days but make sure you take all of your medication or the strain could come back and it might be resistant to the medication.

Usually within 3-4 days...but you always have to take the whole course of peniicillin - just to be sure....because even if you feel better/fine - the bacteria may still be there.

Always take all your medicine, even if you feel better. It usually takes 10 days.
If you don't take it all as prescribed, the strep infection can come back and be even worse.

3-4 days. But you aren't contagious after 24 hours on it so you can have fun even though your throat will hurt a little bit!
