If your chest is hurting you that bad, don't just consider it acid reflux. Go to the doctor, my gosh. You never want to mess around with chest pain. If they send you home, after they treat you, ask them if they can give you something like Nexium or Prilosec, which is available in stores, but you can only take 1 pill a day for fourteen days, and then you cannot take anymore till four months later.
If you want to feel better, lay off the beer, and go and get some Prilosec.
Why are you drinking, especially if it is contributing to your pain. I am not judging you, you seem like you are sincere in getting help, but life is hard enough for all of us, than to add alcohol or drugs to it.
I hope you can find some relief. If you buy Prilosec, read the instructions carefully!!!!!!!

Acid reflux usually does not go up and down your arm etc. It could be a warning sign for you that you maybe about to have aheart attack. Go to the ER ASAP. Explain all your symptoms and ask that they do an EKG and an Echocardiagram. Often times even ER Drs. will dismiss the heart attack possibility in women. You need to speak up and ask for tests that will check the health of heart. Good Luck.

xanax is very addictive! You really need some councling. Will help with the anxiety, the pills and the beer. Acid reflux- well, yes you can have pain in your chest shoulder and arm from it, but if you have it that bad, you need medication for it. Alot of reflux is stress induced.

It can mess up a whole bunch of stuff. get to a doctor and try to get it under control. You will end up having to have surgury if you dont. May have ot have it anyway. Dont mean to make you worry, but get some medical advice. A teaspoon of baking soda in a small glass of water does wonders. It doesnt taste that great, but its like magic. Stress can cause these types of problems. Try to figure out what triggers it. If you cant and the baking soda doesnt work, get to a doctor.
