What could this be? We just got the kitty? Do I need medicine or do I need to get vet care?

Sound like a warble. It is a larva that gets laid under the skin then the larva grows (in a hole, just like you said). It can be easily removed and should heal with no problem (even though it looks awful) with a trip to the vet. Its very common in outdoor cats.

each cellular has DNA and it rather is consisted of two strands tightly woven around one yet another. the element that forestalls the two strands from breaking aside is termed a telomeric cap (that's random nucleotide sequences called nonsense codons. Codon is a three series of nucleotides that codes for amino acids eg. CUU is a amino acid called proline . A nonsense codon is one that doesnt code for any amino acid production) each time your cells divide a small series is lost there with the help of reducing the steadiness of the cellular's DNA (in layman's words). this could finally lead do maximum of Ur cells' DNA becoming to be volatile. and frequently while a mistake occurs in DNA the cellular will carry out motor vehicle cytolysis (cellular suicide) to keep away from issues. So once you're previous maximum of ur cells telomeric caps would be low and that they are companies to die while they attempt to divide.. Whats rather exciting approximately this concept is the impact it has on evolution (with the aid of fact this occurs on the two meiotic besides as mitotic divisions. meaning that a species grows previous too till now it mutates.. yet thats a distinctive tale)

OOh, it's a cuterebrae. It's a little worm that burrows into the skin and pokes its little head out. It needs to be removed by a vet only, right away! It's pretty common so they won't be surprised.

You're kitty has ringworm, and you probably do, too. Call your vet and get in as soon as possible. You may have to see the doctor, yourself. Don't worry too much, though, it's fairly common. Just make sure it's taken care of before it's a big problem.

I would go to a vet with her it doesn't sound like the solution could be found just by going to a pet store. Good luck

It really sounds like it is a larva from the bot fly. Nasty little critters...

You need to get this baby to the vet. Since it is so young, it could very easily die if the infection spreads to his bloodstream.
