I love big dogs, they are always the sweetest , most lovable dogs!.. they usually have the best temperaments, love to play and snuggle, are usually very friendly, and have hearts to match their size! big!... the smaller dogs are usually very yappy and often unfriendly its easy to step on them or trip over them . and they bite quicker than the big dogs... I have 4 dogs they are all big! my favorite breed is the rottweiler, they are just the biggest sweetest babies!.. loving , loyal, totally devoted, and friendly!

It's always been big dogs for me. I find that, generally speaking, they are more peaceful to be around, they're not yappy, or constantly running around. I like a dog you can go on a long walk with - and I don't want to carry him after the first 1/2 hour. I don't have a favourite breed - there's quite a few but greyhounds, afghans, newfies and bearded collies are at the top of the list.

I LOVE big dogs. I love all dogs, but I am just not a huge fan of small dogs. I don't think I will ever own one. I love those big babies who think they are lap dogs. I like going for walk and everybody gawking at us. I just think big dogs are regal and beautiful, plus I love their personalities.

My favorite breed is a Great Dane, though I like almost any kind of mastiff breed or other giant breed.

Small dogs have their appeal for certain people. I certainly wouldn't recommend a 130 pound dog for my grandmother no matter how gentle the dog is. She just couldn't handle it, not to mention afford to feed it! Some people like the cuddle appeal of the small dog. I think it's cute when people carry around their little dogs in those designer carrying bags... as long as it's just to keep their beloved pet near and dear... not being used as a fashion statement.

I like bigger dogs, Little ankle biters (as call them) are just their for show i think. They can do things but not something like going running with me. I like your working/guardian style dogs. I have 2 Rottie mixes and a Pit. They are the best dogs ever for me. They know when to react to situations and they know when not to. These dogs are excellent around kids. If something happened to them i wouldnt know what to do. These are my boys.
They have never been trained in the arena of protection but they do an excellent job of that with no training.
My house was broken into and they did an awesome job. 1 had a leg another had an arm while the eldest just sat and stared at the guy growling till i got some cuffs on him. Police came and the boys just sat their and let them do their job.
My boys are excellent dogs and i will only own/rescue these style of dogs. It is instinct for them to do what they do, protect their extended human family and i will always love them for that.

I like medium dogs! I use to work at the SPCA and the only dog that tried to bite me was a chiuhauha! I have small kids so a large dog would knock them down and small dogs are too fragile! I have a Cocker spaniel and he is the calmest sweetest dog in the world. My 1yr old can give him bear hugs and pull his tail(his tail wasn't cut off) and he takes it all! If you work lots and don't have too much time to spend with a dog a cocker spainel's good. My least favorite breed are Jack Russel terrier(well most terriers) they are so full of energy they'll tear apart your house!

I like small dogs just because you can be more affectionate with them, in my opinion anyway. I have a Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix and he is about 20lbs. I love having a dog that can sit or lay in my lap and cuddle. He is so sweet! I have also had a Boarder Collie which are bigger dogs and they are sweet too but there is just something more full-filling about a small dog.

I like small dogs because it's sort of like having a puppy all the time. There are so many adorable small breeds, but my favorite is the Maltese. My Maltese, Mikey, is my avatar - isn't he cute?! Maltese dogs don't shed, but they do need grooming because their hair can grow quite long! Mikey is so loving and adorable, follows me all around the house; and he smiles :)

I like small dogs, specifically cocker spaniels. Their tails don't knock things over in the house, the food input and output is smaller, they are sturdy and lovable, it's easier to take them in the car and others don't mind them visiting.
However, they are not to be outdoor-only dogs, they're not good with little children and they have several genetic health defects.

Small dogs because they are so cute and cuddly. As my name implies chihuahuas have stolen my heart. They are the ultimmate lap dog, wanting to always be by your side, wanting nothing more than to please you. They are the best. I have owned many breeds in my 50 + years, but no others can compare to a chihuahua.

I like big dogs . I have 2 Akita's . They don't bark at every little thing like small dogs , but you just can't let them run loose in the yard like you can a small dog .
