rub a small amount of baby powder at the roots to clean dry hair. I have really long hair and when I flat iron it I dont wash it for 2 days because it takes so long to iron it again so I put baby powder on my roots and it soaks up the grease

Use a clarifying shampoo and a very light conditioner, one made for fair hair or says it will volumize.

Try shampooing twice before putting on conditioner, too.

If you use conditioner, I just put it on the body of my hair, and not on my head, to cut down on the oil. May need to switch brand of shampoo/conditioner.

Wash it everyday but not more because overwashing, like skin, will make it oily even more! Consult your hairdresser.
