If you were looking for a new home what would you like to see in your master bath? i.e whirlpool bath, seperate shower, double sink? Would you want it to be spacious even if it takes space from other areas of the house like closets and bedrooms.

I'd definitely want 2 sinks, a whirlpool tub, and a separate shower, with at least 2 showerheads. Marble counters, marble or travertine floors. I don't particularly want a large bathroom, but one large enough for my husband and I to get ready at the same time. I wouldn't sacrifice closet space in order to have a huge, luxurious bath.

Definitely a separate shower. A double sink is great, too. A whirlpool bath sounds good but in truth, most people never use them. Good lighting is a must.
About the space, it depends on how much space is available. I think it's silly to have a big bedroom and a small bath. I took space away from my bedroom to create a dressing area and good-sized bathroom. Once you get the clothing storage out of the bedroom, you don't need a big room just for a bed and night-tables, and maybe a chair.

We are selling our house in less than 2-weeks on auction. The whole master bedroom/bathroom and closet is what I will miss most. Our shower has 5 different heads, I especially love the rainfall head. It also has steam heat which is fabulous in the winter (like having a sauna). It has double sinks a large window and a partial wall by the toilet. When we rebuild we will absolutely put in the same shower.

I would want all of that in the master bedroom/bathroom. It wouldnt matter to me if it took up room in the house.

i would look for a big window, jacuzzi tub, large shower separate toilet room and double sinks with alot of counter space.nice lighting. marble or tile in a neutral(tan or grey)color that way you can do what you want for your color scheme
