The real reason, is because they don't want to be recognized while spending all the parishioners money at the local jewelery store.

I wish I knew why the one on TBN does that. So fake! If I had an extra million dollars to donate to a televangelist, I wouldn't give to that particular one because I would not want to fund her totally ridiculous appearance and whiney voice...
At least Tammy Faye has dropped her false appearance and looks like a normal human being since she is out of the loop and remarried to a real man and leads a real life. My hats off to her - she lives near me.

I guess they always wanted to be in show business, and have finally ''made it''. Why not dress the part? Then, they, and their husbands, are not really religious. They have just found a way to con people out of their money. They are a big joke.

Same reason they get on t.v. and tell you that "THE LORD" wants you to donate to there cause.Because they are all FAKE. And as far as being"Southern pride". I've seen quite a few from Yankee town too.So again lets not throw EVERYONE into one big group. Unless you want to show your ignorance.

I think it's because they see a different plane of existence and that is how their soul looks to them even if it hasnt manifested physically yet, or, it never manifests physically but that is how they look on a spiritual plane. Atmic probably
