Jesus, and Buddha, Muhammad and Zoroaster. I accept all spiritual men throughtout time as my guides, not my saviors. Savior implies that I need saving. Everything I need to be enlightened and fulfill my spirituality is already within me. I am divine. We all are divine beings. Were we not created in the divines image?
We just need guides to lead the way, and show us how to reach the divinity and connection us with the univeral energy (God if you like.) Jesus Christ was not the only guide.
I have issues with the exclusionary tone of intolerance that many of the major organized religions espouse. Yours especially.

Yes, I have and thank you for your questions..... A favorite poem of mine comes to mind..
" Only one life will soon be past only whats done for Christ will last "
Its truely amazing the range and types of answers a question such as yours can bring..... It shows how true the bible is as it speaks of the animosity and persecution that comes as a result of witnessing for our Lord....
You could have asked 1000 other questions that would not produce such a reaction.... It is truely sad that the people who need to listen the most to your question are the ones that are the quickest to reject what you are trying to get them to think about...
I trusted Jesus as my personal savior when I was 11 years old.... I am now in my 40's and it was the most important decision in my life.....
I wish all people would consider that our souls will live in enternity..... That eternity can be spent with God and Jesus if they will only accept the free gift of salvation......
There are so many "skeptics" of the Christian faith.... The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the basis of our Christian faith but in addition, it was an historical event.... Eyewitnesses verified this event... That is what the "Good News", (the Gospels) are all about....
Mathew and John knew Jesus Christ..... Their experiences are written down in the gospel accounts... My prayer is that your question will cause some of these skeptics to "keep an open mind" about Christ and research it for themselves..... Over 500 people saw Jesus after he was resurrected..... If people could only understand that only reason Christianity had the impact on the world that it did is because Jesus is who He says He is and the truth of His resurrection is a fact of History.....
The skeptics should consider that historians accept that all of Jesus disciples with the exception of John were martared for their belief in Jesus......Skeptics should ask why these men were willing to die just to tell others about Jesus..... John even though he was not killed spent his last days exciled on an island because of his beliefs....
Jesus loves everyone..... Christians and skeptics alike....Jesus does not want anybody to spend eternity in hell... But Jesus loves mankind so much that he allows man and woman to have freel will to decide whether they will accept Him as their Savior.....
Thanks for your question...

Yes, while a college student in 1973. I shortly became deeply involved in Bible study and fanatical group meetings. I left that sorry bunch of losers after 6 months. I realized that I had joined a cultish organization that centered on a flawed, man-made book filled with fantasy and nonsense.
Your words and citing of biblical verses reminds me of a former brainwashed fanatic me. You must be new to this conversion. I'll give you a year to get over your enthusiastic diligence.

yes he has saved me from death, but how can one son be lord over another if i am a son of God as he is then i and he both have the same Lord, i cannot get back into the house as i do not have the key only he does, i must knock and wait till he opens and lets me in, but once i am in the house, i am no longer treated as a servant but there is much rejoicing over the son who was once dead but now is found, read the prodigal son with understanding.

Yes! after years of being agnostic. I even leaned toward being an Atheist. My favorite authors and everything I believed in was Anti-religion. I even thought that religion was just a SCAM to get money from people who were followers and needy! Boy do I feel foolish admitting all that now...
I am so thankful for have Jesus as my savior!

Yes I have many years ago. Thanks for the question. Many now are in need of inspiration as we approach the chapters leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Keep planting seeds of truth even when the soil rejects them.><>

*Sigh* More preaching. As if everyone on this board hasn't heard enough already...
Seriously, guy. What are you expecting with this little tirade here? For non-believers to read your words and say "Oh, my goodness I was wrong my entire life! I've never heard it put this way before. I'll convert right away!"
