Any device compatible with xd card should do the job fine. I tend to use my printer to read my xd card (Epson PHOTO R300), and then upload to p.c straight from the printer.
Else can always take it to a retail outlet and use their machines if it's pictures you want to print, most supermarkets have a photocenter now, and these will be able to use your xd card.
Just check if the device you wish to buy states it can read xd cards, should have a massive choice open to you, then just depends what you wish to use the xd card for.

SmartMedia/xd reader is what I have. You can buy a reader at Wal-Mart that will read nearly all of them for about $20
