Obviously it is working for millions of other people, don't they see mixed couples everywhere now a days.

because society says so. my step-mother says "the bible says, birds of a feather flock together" another words we're white-we have to be with white.
i say who gives a crap??? you don't choose what characteristics are going to be what you fall for or are attracted to!! you just know what you like. me, i do happen to be more attracted white guys-so this doesn't really apply to me, but i see nothing wrong with somone dating someone of another race.for the same reason, i also can't say it's wrong for people to like someone of a different religion, or of the same sex.
people need to stop hating people for who they are. they cannot help who they are or what they were born into. maybe people should be more friendly with people of different race/relgion/culture, so maybe they could gather some understanding.
people should also not put limitations on people they date, i hate that. people need to open their minds. like i said earlier i normally like white guys, but if i happen to meet a black or hispanic guy who just rocks my world-then good for me! race/relgion/gender/sex/culture/height/weight, all of these things are stupid limitations.

Because a lot of people on answers are not open minded. Besides, who cares what they think, that's just their opinion just as long as they don't interfere with other people's decisions. If we were all the same race in the world what fun would it be? It would be dead BORING!!!!! It's great that there are other races because we learn about each other's cultures and that is what makes it fun and unique. I love to see couples that date out of their race. I for one am one of them also. I can admire any person that doesn't care what society thinks. These people do what makes them happy and that's all that matters in the end.

Because of the fact that if you are mixed, that would be mixed up. and after a couple thousands years from now, everyone is going to be the same race if we mix the race now. Oh well, Let's just hope that everyone is everyone's race and that would be dead boring to see everyone is every race.

I think a lot of people have misgivings about immigration etc. but they don't feel free to discuss these issues publicly since to question immigration policy seems to invite the label of racist or redneck. I think Answers is a more anonymous forum for people to say some of the things that they're really thinking.
