Yes, he knew.
He can't be a prophet. Prophets do not blaspheme. If Jesus was not the Son of God, then some of what he said is blasphemy--because no matter how "special" you are to God, you are not allowed to say that you are the Way to God without it being a sin.
There are numerous points in the Gospels when Jesus mentions that there is no other way to his Father but through him.

He is both the Son of God and God himself. One person, three beings. The Trinity. This is another mystery of faith. Jesus was NOT just a prophet as they believe in Islam. Jesus did not realize he was the son of God early in his life. As he got into his ministry and came closer to his passion, he did realize he was God though he was still a man at the same time. Another mystery.

Yes his mother told him what the angel said to her before he became of age.
When he was baptized the sign of the dove came upon him from above and a voice said to him, (Gods voice to John and Jesus), "This is my son my beloved, I approve of him."
No doubt in the wilderness for forty days to be tempted by the devil, there were angels with him and everything about his prehuman existence in the heavens was explained and no doubt a lot more about his mission here on earth to his people first then later to other nations. He was more than a prophet.

Yes, he did. When He was just twelve, the Bible says that he said that "he must be about the father's business." Throughout the passages of the Gospels, He clearly and unequivocally makes light of His equality with God. He said that He and the Father are one. His miracles were demonstrated to authenticate His place as the son of God. He refers to Himself as "son of man" - a clear messianic title that the Jews recognized.

yes he knew he was the son of God. He knew who his father was and what his purpose was. And that was to die for us. How can you put down a man that died for you? And gave you a chance to accept him and take the pain of hell away from you? How can you question a man so great as that. Would you ever do that for a bunch of strangers? I dont think so. So think before talking about Jesus.
"Never underestimate my Jesus.
You're telling me that there's no hope.
I'm telling you, you're wrong.
Never underestimate my Jesus.
When the world around you crumbles, He will be strong."

I wanted to send you a wisecrack answer-at first, but then I see you are serious and it is an honest question.
He did not think he was the son of G-d, as he wasn't. I doubt if he thought of himself as a prophet, but just a teacher teaching what he felt was good. I think he just thought of himself as a man.

Do you know who you are? I really doubt it.
You know very little about the Word of God by the question you have written.
To find out, go to the Word, the Bible and first find God, then you will know the truth about everything.><>
