When your partner goes storming out after an argument, what do you do?

I would just let them leave, and while they are gone, replay what triggered the argument to begin with and try to see things from their point of view and think about how I would have reacted to it if I was them and when they come back be calm and neutral and try to talk to them rationally and apologize if I was wrong in something I said or did, and listen to them and let them get it all out and not argue about who was right or wrong then you can resolve the issue better. You should let them go to cool down and gather their thoughts.

give them time to cool off and wait a day to talk to them, no one is willing to talk when they are angry. For you, I would backtrack and figure out why the other person got upset and how you could fix the problem. Other than that there is not much one can do, until you both sit down and talk.
