Thanks for that question, it really tickled me...reminds me of an ex who once asked me why there were no people bones found with dinosaur fossils, cos he'd seen films that had people and dinosaurs in them at the same time.

because all have been found by now..
and there are too fossils of chickens..they just had scales back then is all......

That is called the dead sea scrolls and other writings like that. Many fragments are found.

Probably because the old copies were burned as soon as they were copied. In the times that the Bible was written, the newer copies were considered better.
