My sis has dark brown hair, n she lot light dirty brown n also red streaks in her hair n only in certain places. It looked awesomee!!!

red highlights or light brown would look good. I would go with the red. Of course, I'm pretty partial to red, hence my name.

If you want it to look natural, get highlights that are about 2 or 3 shades lighter than your hair. Also, don't get the really chunky highlights, they look super fake.
