BF and I have been together for a year and a half- he has never liked holding hands (Im taller than him) there are very short stints of affection but that is it. Is this normal? do most guys not like that mushy "lovey dovey" stuff? am I out of line for wanting it? He is very technical and over all a mechanical wiz. good with cars, ac, any thing really- are those kinda guys not good with feelings?

decide what you need in a relationship and take
it from there. I like all the hugs and kisses,and
affection,so thats why I go out with guys who

I wouldn't mind holding hands, embracing, and kissing. I would show my affection for my girl. I would hold hands with her. I wouldn't mind. Holding hands for me is just another way to show my girl that I still have feelings for her. Same thing with embracing and kissing. I do not care who watches us. I just want to show my girl that I am dating her. Maybe he doesn't want any else to know that he is dating her so he can date someone else. I suggest that you break up with him.

I don't see why not, I don't mind that kinda stuff at all :). I mean not necessarily in public or anything, but in private he should be affectionate with you.
