First there is that little thing called separation of church and state. Then there is the fact that little would get done outside of religious posturing. And which churchfather are you suggesting we vote for? The Pope? I think not.

Why we not vote? President of America? Are you actually an American? It's "why don't we vote" and "President of the United States". Who is the church father? Do you mean the Lord our God? He rules in the kingdom of heaven, not on earth. He has annointed the leaders of the earth and we must support them, and pray that they follow the guidance of the Lord.
