I find it odd that he was interested in me seeing that I am a white girl. I have never seen an African man date a white girl. I always see African's date other African's because they usually don't think to highly of Americans. A friend of mine asked if he was a citizen, implying that he was dating me for reasons of becoming a citizen by marriage one day. What do you think? I only went on one date with him so far so it is hard for me to determine his intentions, but so far he seems anxious to get to know me much better.

Anyway your not going to marry him overnite so just, take it easy and enjoy your self,
If he's hunting for citizen ship there are black women who he could get to give him same, I think he likes you.

He may be. It has to be remembered that Africans tend to be more racial concious then we do. I used to get in trouble on Yahoo! IM because I would take offense to them asking of my race and finally one laced me up.

If this is a genuine concern I would ask straight up. He may get a bit offended but being able to ask the hard questions is part of having a healthy relationship. If he's not willing to answer them then he's more than likely not the one for you.

Get to know him better. Maybe he just wants to become a citizen, or maybe he's genuinely interested in you.

Not to be racist, I do not think an african american would be a good choice for you to date. You should date someone else.

Let him get to know you and stop thinking about WHY we wants to get to know you. You'll find out eventually.

take it slow, and see what happens,I think if you are white you should stick to your own race, each race should stick to there own.
