I was going to answer but I cant be bothered this religion thing , the arguments will go on forever, or until we get a lucky strike by a bloody great chunk of rock and ice from outer space, and wipe the lot out, or piss down with rain so hard we will all drown, then on the other hand the dam place will be swallowed up by volcanic eruptions. the trouble is some prat will survive and reckon he's god.
man will always be the eternal con artist

I think when you say "church" you are actually meaning the building where church members congregate. According to the New Testament, the Church is the sum total of Christians. The temple is the Christian's body where the Holy Spirit lives and teaches and guides the Christian in living his faith. Sometimes I go to the temple to worship with other Christians.

yes I do. I try to find a church that always has an open door, and yes there are a few that still are brave enough to do so, and I find that a few minutes in the quiet and strange listening silence is very soothing and leaves me feeling ready for the day ahead. I also like to sit in the little side chapels of our great cathedrals which happily are always open.

I think we Brits tend to go for weddings, Christenings and funerals and maybe Christmas - perhaps even Easter. of course, there is still the somewhat farcical situation that the prospective bride and groom should attend for the 3 readings of the bans (?) of marriage prior to marrying in Church - and they probably hardly ever go back once they are actually married

Yes, every Funeral, Wedding or Christening of my customers
(we are Pub Landlords ) but apart from that, every Christmas
Eve, Midnight Service, and we have done for the last 30 years,
,, many of us cannot attend church on a regular basis, but none
the less, we are still very much under God's eye !!!!

I normally do, but I'm healing from neck surgery and had a lot of pain today, so I stayed home. Fortunately, my church service is broadcast worldwide online, so I'm able to go to church at my computer.

A few friends of mine do. They go to the catherdral in Kent. It's very grand if you have never been. Are all church's as nice as that or is that just a "one off".

Not too often. I am very religious though, I just don't get a chance to go to church. I pray every night, I hope that counts.

I used to - the worship was in English so I used it as a language practice. But then I grew tired of all the singing and rituals and I stopped.
