Don't try to lose weight. I did try to lose weight about a year ago and I had lot of muscles from dance. I dropped a lot of weight but it was mainly muscle weight that I lost and I did not look as lean as I started out. Also I couldn't eat as much as I used to be able to eat, since muscle burns calories even while resting. So I basically shot down my metabolism. When I went to the doctor, she made me put on the weight that I had lost and I gained it all back as FAT and it's really hard trying to build muscle again from scratch. So keep doing what you're doing. Everyone else is right, go by how your clothes fit you. Muscle does weight a lot more than fat.

123 is not bad. In fact that's rather small for 5'6. I personally don't think you should try to lose weight, you are fine the way you are. If you weigh more than they guess thats good. You appearance makes you look skinny, and your muscle just weighs a lot. I'm 5'3 and about 120. and i am fine with my weight, but 123 is definately NOT fat. you shouldn't be worried about what people think about your weight in the first place, they are probably asking because they think you are very skinny.

If you look good and feel good and are "all muscle" then for heaven's sake tell everyone to go fly a kite! Most people would give their last breath (and many do) to be where you are. The number on the scale is just that - a number! WHy are people even asking what you weigh? Just tell them somewhere around 110 - 120...or tell them you haven't weighed yourself lately. Please don't go nuts about this - they're probably just jealous! Enjoy your body!

Who cares about the number as long as you are comfortable with your body? If people think you weigh less than you do, don't bother correcting them. Just say thanks. If you were really 105lb. at 5'6 you would probably look terminally ill or anorexic.
Why are all these people asking what you weigh anyway? It seems like an out of the blue and sort of personal question to ask someone they don't really know all that well.
and don't listen to idiots like daniel p. he is the reason so many girls are insecure with themselves. Like the harbinger of eating disorders.
It's really too bad more guys don't obsess about things like a girl's character, faithfulness and honesty instead of her waist line and cup size.

your not fat. Just because the scale say something different it doesn't make you fat maybe your muscle or something. if you want the scale to say what everyone thinks (even thought you really do not need it) try doing exercise that will allow you to lean out your body and build muscle try Pilate's or yoga.Good luck

don't concern yourself with what the scales say. you only have to be comfortable with your own appearance. and you are correct, muscle weighs more than fat, so as you gain muscle and lose fat you will gain weight. your health is the key, not the actual weight.

If possible try to get your body fat percentage.

If you're muscular you might weight as much as those who are flabbier (sp?) since muscles weight more than fat. Football players weight around 200pounds but they are muscles.
As long as you don't look fat just ignore what the scale says.

You are just fine. If you make yourself feel like that is fat, you will be insecure the rest of your life. Don't be ashamed because it is just a number! Inches only count....... F Y I, that number is perfect for your height anyway, so stop tripping.

Don't worry about what the scale says, it is unimportant in your case. All you need to worry about is how your clothes fit. That is the best indication of being fit. That and how you feel both physically and emotionally. Your actual weight is unimportant!
