Venlafaxine (Effexor) works for me when fluoxetine (prozac) and escitalopram (cipralex) didn't.

Lexipro, though maybe some others in the past that, at the time, I didn't think were helping me. I didn't realize then that after a while, you shouldn't really notice the effects because you should be feeling normal. I thought once those "great feelings" were undetectable, the meds weren't working any longer.

I'm using a Wellbutrin/Effexor cocktail. They both target serotonin and norepinephrine. They're an awful lot alike so it's a last resort combination, but it's definitely working for me.

I have been on a few, my bests are high dose lexapro mixed with a medium dose of wellbutrin. each one works on different part of the brain to level me out
