Congrats on 5 miles!
Your body will do some weird things when you peak it like that. It will go away. Drink water and eat some fruit.
The first time I ran 3 miles, I was fine right after. A few hours later, I felt like I hadn't eaten for 4 days. I was STARVING!
You didn't work your way up to running 5, just like I didn't work my way up to running 3. Next time, work your way up very slowly to give your body a chance to adjust. I haven't had a day like that since I started increasing my distances slowly.

Sip on water. That's called a heat stroke. If you start getting really cold, you need to get someone to take you to the hospital. You need to mix some salt into water and sip on it a little at a time. Don't try to drink water fast. It will go right through you. Also, if you came inside right after all that running and it's really cold in your house, that can make you dizzy too, sometimes pass out. Let us know you're ok!

I don't think you are having a stroke, but you may have pushed your blood pressure up. Take a rest, drink fluids and if you are over weight or under exercised, you should ask the doctor at your next visit how to start a healthy exercise regime. You may be overheated. Also, you didn't say how old you are. As you age, exercise should be gradual and regular.

Drink water, that's a must.
Take a break, just sit there and relax, after if your muscles hurt afterwards do stretches for your legs, you'ill be surprised that stretching will take away the pain.

Your blood sugar could be low and so could your b/p. Walking/ running can cause both to drop. You need to make sure that
you don't become dehydrated. If you can the next time this happens you should check you b/p and blood sugar.
