My b/f is in a band and we don't really spend that much time together because his #1 priority is band. The only time I have seen him this week is when he picks me up or drops me off at work. He keeps telling me that I'm his #1 priority but it really doesn't show. Should I break up with him? I don't want to force our relationship anymore...

Like, I did talk to him about it, like 2 or 3 months ago, and we've went on ONE date since then. He knows exactly how I feel- that I love and want to support him, but he's kind of pushing me away...

Do you like the idea of him being in a band? He is trying to balance two things that mean the most to him at once. I don't suggest you break up with him, I suggest that you tell him you are there to support him but you also think you both should spend more time together. Try and be reasonable and rational..no shouting or allowing it to flow into an arguement. Can you both set a couple of days aside where you both can just enjoy each others company without the mention of his band. Make it clear that you support him but you feel slightly neglected or maybe pushed out. Can you get involved with his bands activites? That would be a way to see him more.

Have you spoken to him about this problem, because it is a big problem. It's something you need to let him know because it is affecting your life and your relationship. I think that if you speak to him and he is aware of your feeling an don't make any changes and a little bit of effort to give you some time, you should consider to move on, because that means you are not as important to him as his music is. And have you ever thought that is you keep next to him and decide in a marriage not soon how would it be the same or worst. Do you really want that for you? I don't think so. Give him a change if no changes are made. BREAK UP WITH HIM.

Yeah, You should break up with your boyfriend. If I was your boyfriend and really committed to our relationship, I would have put my you #1 priority, Actually, I would put myself to be #1 priority like saving myself (not band, not anything else, just me) then you would be the 2nd priority.

If you really like him , just try talking to him and let him know how you feel , maybe then he's going to realize that he's pushing you away!!
Best of luck to you !
