I am muslim. Yes, this is one "division". And there are many other "divisions"

married and single people
men and women
those who drink alcohol, those who don't
those who are this way and those who are that way
the pious, the rebellious
etc
etc
etc

see my point? don't make too much of a big deal out of this distinguishing point, because it is a distinction that exists.

But for Muslims, the division you refer to is based on ideology/beliefs and those are also exhibited through actions ---- not what family or "race" you were born into or anything else you have absolutely no choice about.

It believe your asking a leading question. We are all on this planet called earth. We are all human. There are distinctions between what we believe on our existence. It's a shame it has to divide. But don't you want it divide if there is only one true way to heaven. We should debate and try to figure out which is the right way. Wouldn't you want that? If I'm wrong and your right. Hey respectfully show me my wrong way. If you save me from oblivion. Your my friend.

I will not use the news media to form an answer, but on people I have known.

Muslims have never given me that feeling-that I was a ''them''.
But, alot of Christians have.
